What makes these gardens so special?

The Veggiegrower Gardens come in a variety of shapes and sizes to meet your food and space needs.

Each garden comes with two protective coverings.   The summer cover is made of extra thick row cover material that allows water and 90% of sunlight through while blocking strong winds, blocking damaging rain or hail, and providing organic pest control.  The winter cover is made of UV treated greenhouse plastic that creates a mini greenhouse out of your garden and allows food production to continue year round.  Both protective covers reduce evaporation and create a high humidity growing area for plump and succulent vegetables.

All gardens are made of top quality pine lumber and are double coated with linseed oil for long lasting organic wood protection.

All gardens have a uniquely designed drainage/aeration system that allows for excellent drainage and soil aeration from the bottom up.

The gardens have partitions that allow you to grow all of your favorite vegetables, herbs, and flowers in a single garden bed.

Because of the micro intensive planting technique that is used in these gardens and because of the protective covers, these gardens use 85% less water than traditional agriculture.

The compact size of our gardens allows people to grow some of their own food in areas where space is very limited such as urban settings where gardens can be set up in back yards, on patios, or on rooftops.

Our gardens require a minimal time commitment while providing an abundance of fresh produce whenever you want it.  Watering takes only minutes, weeding is not an issue since our gardens are self contained units with bottoms, and harvesting is done easily with a pair of scissors or garden snips.

Our gardens can be moved when you move from one location to another.

Our gardens are simple enough to be used by kids and beginner gardeners but can also benefit experienced gardeners who are serious about food production.

Our gardens are accesible to gardeners of all ages and abilities.  Gardens can be set up at waist level for individuals with back problems or handicaps.  Both protective coverings are easy to open and require minimal strength. 

All gardens can be fitted with a micro sprinkler irrigation system and hooked up to a timer for automatic watering while you are out of town.
