Veggiegrower Gardens in New York City? Absolutely! The summer of 2007 was a busy time of travel and garden setup. Chuck O'Herron-Alex was in Athens, Georgia and New York City teaching about and setting up micro intensive gardens. The picture below shows two newly built Santa Fe Grande gardens on the roof of a school in the Bronx.

New garden size! The Hobbs Half Pint is making its debut and filling a niche between the Toas Personal and the Espanola Mini. See the "sizes and prices" page for more information.

The garden above was filled with soil and planted on June 30, 2007 and the picture below was taken on July 25, 2007 (less than a month later!).

Come on in and see different garden models, check out our no smell worm composting bins, buy vegetable seeds in bulk and get all of your micro garden supplies!
NEW!!! Do-it-yourself kits are now able to be shipped anywhere in the United States. Build your own Veggiegrower Garden at a fraction of the cost with your own new or recycled lumber! For information go to "Do-it-yourself kits" page.

BUDGET DEAL - While we think that the built in drainage system and protective covering system are invaluable components of the Veggiegrower garden, recent experiments have shown that the dividers that separate the garden into different growing areas are of moderate benefit. The dividers do allow easy harvesting of vegetables without disturbing its neighbor's roots, greater water management, and easy crop rotation parameters. We are now pleased to offer a micro intensive garden without dividers that will cost less but produce the same amount of food and require only a little more effort on the part of the gardener. The prices for Veggiegrower gardens without dividers are:
Taos Personal - 2'x2' - $150 (with Get-You-Started package - $250)
Hobbs Half Pint - 4'x2' - $200 (with Get-You-Started package - $335)
Espanola Mini - 4'x4' - $300 (with Get-You-Started package - $475)
Albuquerque Abundant - 5'x3' - $300 (with Get-You-Started package - $475)
Las Cruces Long - 8'x2' - $300 (with Get-You-Started package -$475)
Santa Fe Grande - 8'x4' - $475 (with Get-You-Started package - $725)
Veggiegrower Gardens has developed growing systems that produce great tasting and nutrient rich food and require less water, time, and effort than traditional agriculture.

Veggiegrower Gardens can be raised up off of the ground for people with back problems or with limited mobility (see pictures above and below).
